Join us for a fun evening of live music from Trey Taylor and BBQ from Sweet Auburn BBQ to benefit First Candle, a charity dedicated to reducing SIDS and providing bereavement support to parents through early miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and infant loss.

Proceeds from Light The Night In Georgia will be used to bring awareness to the issue of infant mortality here in Georgia through First Candle's Let's Talk! Community Chats program. Every year 3,600 babies die from SUID or SIDS and Georgia has the 8th highest rate for infant deaths in the U.S.

The event will be honoring Nick Chubb, former UGA football standout and current Cleveland Browns Running Back. In 2018 Nick’s nephew, Junior, died from Sudden Unexpected Infant Death. In 2021 Nick launched his line of cereal, Chubb Crunch, and donated proceeds to First Candle. Nick, his sister Neidra and his entire family are now committed to educating Georgians on safe sleep and supporting First Candle’s grief program. The event will also honor Regal Lager founders, Bengt & Luanne Lager for their longtime financial support to First Candle, and Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia who is partnering with First Candle to bring the Let’s Talk! Community Conversations to Georgia.
